Deep Run School Museum is located in Short Pump Park. Built in 1902, the two-room schoolhouse served the white community in Short Pump until 1911.

Agecroft was always intended to be a museum following its life as a private residence in Richmond — opened to the public on July 5th, 1969, Agecroft is dedicated to telling stories of its English past with over 500 years of history from England to Virginia within these walls.


The building now offers useable space for the community to reserve for smaller meetings or programs with up to 12 people. The renovated interior includes details of the early 20th century schoolhouse and interior exhibit panels that share the history of the school and community.
