World's largest collection of American art spanning more than 300 years. Free admission. Housed in the historic Old Patent Office Building alongside the National Portrait Gallery. Permanent collections include folk art, modern art, and the Renwick Gallery annex for craft and decorative arts. Open daily 11:30am-7pm.
