Mortarotti launched the business in the farmers’ markets around Los Angeles so she could interact directly with local farmers and use their produce to synergistically inspire her creations. Today Carmela has two retail locations inPasadena and Palm Springs, and operates a popular catering and event business throughout Southern California.
