In 2023, MSU Denver unveiled the Charlie Papazian Brewing Education Lab beside Degree. Named after the founder of the Great American Beer Festival and the craft-beer industry’s leading trade association, this state-of-the-art facility helps students prepare for careers in Colorado’s thriving brewing industry, home to over 400 breweries. The lab’s centerpiece is a 3.5-barrel commercial brewing system, allowing students to design, brew, and serve their own beers at Degree Brewpub. Plus, every dollar you spend here supports MSU Denver students, providing hands-on experience and funding scholarships through the MSU Denver Foundation.
