Artists Playground: Laser Cut Out Art

Wanna see lasers in action? Join us as we demo the Glowforge and see it in action! Young participants will get a chance to draw a design out to get cut out on wood! One shape cutout per child participant. Smoke sensitivity warning: the Glowforge does have a filter, and we open up the studio garage door to provide air circulation, but smoke will be present. Mask can be provided if individuals are sensitive to smoke. Artist Playground provides young artists the opportunity to test and try out different art making tools and explore different ways of making. This library program is a drop-in program. This means you can join us at any point between 4:30 - 5:30pm. This program is intended for families with kids ages 5-8 with an adult, while kids ages 9-18 and do not need to be accompanied by their grown-up. By attending library programs, you are agreeing to potentially appear in photos/videos taken at our locations that may be used in promotional materials including social media.
