Getting started is one of the hardest parts of researching your family history. Drop-in to our Family History Fridays at your local branch to gain 1-on-1 assistance from a Genealogy Room librarian. The Genealogy Librarian will be available to help you start your research, troubleshoot your brick walls, or explore how to best utilize our many different genealogical resources. Reminder: This is an informal, drop-in event, so please feel free to stop by anytime between 9 and noon. Family History Fridays will be held at Buder Library on the 1st Friday of each month About the librarians: Preston Petermeier is the Manager of the Genealogy Room at the Central Library. He has over 10 years of library experience with historical and genealogical research. Christina Turnbull is the Adult Specialist for the Genealogy Room. She has over 2 years of experience with genealogy research, which was preceded by a decade of work in various libraries.
