Musical Storytime with Opera Carolina

Join us for Musical Storytime with Opera Carolina and bring your favorite stories to life! Musical Storytime blends live singing, interactive storytelling, and early literacy skills to spark creativity and curiosity in young audiences. Meet Harold, a curious parrot with a big personality and a love for sounds! Join us as we follow Harold’s journey to find his unique voice through storytelling, music, and playful sound exploration. Harold Finds a Voice: Harold is an amazing mimic, and can imitate the sound of everything in his home. Tired of repeating the same old noises, he yearns to find out what other voices there are in the big, wide world. But what happens when he suddenly realizes that he doesn’t yet have a voice of his own? The program is designed for children ages 3-8, but can be enjoyed by all ages. Families welcomed! Program tickets will be available at the front desk 15 minutes prior to the program; tickets are available on a first-come first-served basis . This program is sponsored by Culture Blocks— a community partnership between the Arts & Science Council, Charlotte Mecklenburg Library and Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation to bring arts and cultural experiences closer to where residents live.
