Tired of costly roaming fees, borrowing public computers, and lugging around bulky map books while travelling? It's time to let your phone take care of everything. This session is your ticket to a more relaxed trip. We'll show you how to turn your smartphone into the ultimate travel helper. We'll cover everything from using map apps offline, without Wi-Fi or a data plan, to discovering local gems and how to use an eSIM to get affordable data anywhere in the world. From digital wallets, VPNs, and using "airplane mode," you’ll gain a strong new set of skills to help you stay connected and travel with total peace of mind, whether exploring locally or abroad. Tech Talks with Chris Bint always fill with a long wait list—so if you register and can't attend, please cancel your registration so that someone else can. Thank you! Attending Online Registration closes 60 minutes before the program begins. Two days before the program date, we will send you a meeting link. To attend the program on the phone, please register, and we'll provide the information you need to listen in. Accessibility If you need an accessibility accommodation during this program, please register early so we can confirm arrangements a few days before your visit.
