Tutoring with Northstar

Mt. Pleasant Library hosts free afterschool homework help and literacy tutoring sessions with volunteers from Northstar Tutoring, a one-on-one volunteer literacy and mentorship program. All students are matched with their own volunteer/mentor to provide academic and personal support. Northstar has spent over 30 years providing tutoring and mentoring programs for under-served youth in the D.C. area. Afterschool Tutoring takes place in the Large Meeting Room on the First Floor.
