KDL is proud to partner with Feeding America West Michigan to provide free lunches for students under the age of 18 or up to 26 years of age for people with disabilities. ( Easy pick-up, shelf-stable , nutritious meals are pre-packaged with several options available to fit almost any dietary need.).
Foam Party
Frolic in foam bubbles and listen to child-friendly tunes, all while having a bubbly blast. Swimwear and a towel for each child is helpful. Footwear that can get wet is also recommended.

This unique read-aloud program in partnership with West Michigan Therapy Dogs, Inc . pairs kids with a trained therapy dog and their handler. Kids read their favorite book and the pooches curl up, listen and enjoy. Arrive 15 minutes early to sign in and secure a time slot. First come, first served.

Movie in the Park [Off-Site]
Join us on the lawn for an evening of family-friendly crafts, outdoor activities and a movie. The library will post the movie title in the branch. All movies will be rated G or PG . Closed captioning provided. This event will take place outside the Charter Township of Gaines Offices, 8555 Kalamazoo.
