Join us for a special storytime on Wednesday, June 24th at 10:30AM. Matthew from Highland Music Studio will be presenting a free music class. You'll have so much fun as you sing, wiggle, shake and drum, you won't realize how much learning is taking place!

In this creative workshop, teens build their own strata‑style collages by layering colors and materials to mimic the look of rock and sediment. As they tuck small shapes or symbols between layers, they’ll uncover how art can reveal hidden stories just waiting to be found.

We will read Beardon's book, My Hands Sing the Blues , then make Beardon-inspired artworks. Registration is required. Supplies provided. Support provided by the DeKalb Library Foundation.
