This program is based on the nationally recognized initiative, Every Child Ready to Read, which helps caregivers and their little ones learn about the five early literacy skills: talking, singing, reading, writing, and playing.

The Reading Education Assistance Dogs® [R.E.A.D.] program improves children’s reading and communication skills by employing a powerful method: reading to a therapy dog. Recommended for ages 6-12.
