Anime Club is back! Come to Zablocki Branch Library once a month to watch your favorite series, try some Japanese snacks, and do a quick craft! Anime shown will be 12-14+.

Enjoy a 20 minute storytime, followed by play with educational toys for kids under 3 with an adult.

Young children and their caregiver are invited to a story time filled with stories, songs, and fingerplays all designed to help little ones develop important literacy skills needed prior to learning how to read.

For children ages 3 and under, with a caregiver. Older siblings welcome.

At the tail-end of summer this is a creative and fun way to have teens consider how they want this school year to look. Expressing thought and emotion through stickers, paint, collage, and various other craft supplies, I hope to instill some goal-setting for the 2026-2027 school year.

Beat those Wednesday blues with Midweek Makers! Come get creative, using either an assortment of art supplies from the Art Cart, or using building straws, Magna Tiles, and LEGO bricks during You Build It! on alternating Wednesdays all year long. Make new friends, bring your family, or stop by after.

Come to Zablocki for a day of tie-dye fun! We’ll provide socks or bandanas you can design however you want, or feel free to bring anything from home! The rest of the materials will be provided. Registration is encouraged but not required.

Get ready for all things summer reading at the Mitchell Street Library! We will have buttons, bookmarks, popsicles, and even a mermaid! Mermaid Ophelia will be here from 3-4 pm and discuss the importance of Milwaukee's waterways and how to protect them. Meet & Greet to follow.
