Play or learn chess in a welcoming group environment at West End's afternoon chess session for youth.

All ages and skill levels are welcome to come learn and play chess together! Connect with your community and hone your chess skills. An instructor will be available to help teach the basics and coach participants. Presented by the Cris Collinsworth ProScan Fund Chess in Schools program.

Join us every Tuesday for an hour of video games and excitement, using either our Nintendo Switch or PS5. All games will be provided.

Play is a crucial part of building literacy and social skills, so join us for a weekly playdate at the library! We will provide opportunities for imagination and skill building, plus socialization for both children and caregivers. Recommended for ages 1-5. No registration required.

Come test your chess skills against other youth players! Play a different player each round and rack up points. Top 3 finishers each choose from a selection $10 gift cards and other exciting prizes. Chess swag and snacks for all participants.
