Kids will explore the science of density as they mix simple ingredients to create colorful “underwater fireworks.” This quick experiment sparks curiosity and gives children a chance to play with variables and observe how different liquids interact.

Want to work on a craft? Or play a board game? Or just have a quiet space to get some work done? Come hang out at the MLK Branch on Friday afternoons! Craft supplies and board games will be available, as well as space to work on personal projects. Intended for ages 13-18

Kids ages 8 and up can stop by our sign‑up table to register for the Ponce Spelling Bee happening on August 1. Participants will receive a word list to help them prepare for the big day. It’s a great chance for young spellers to show off their skills and have some fun.

Families are invited to enjoy an evening of board games, card games, and friendly competition at the library. It’s a relaxed, screen‑free way to play together and discover new favorite games.
